For weeks after reading it for the first time, she called me mama kangaroo and we had to hop-I mean, boing-all around the house instead of walk. "Boing" has also replaced the word "jump" in her vocabulary.The simple yet poignant story and minimal text make it great for adding your own imagination to the book. My daughter and I have had a lot of fun talking about other animals that boing and trying out new boinging techniques. Plus you can't beat the cardiovascular.
