Rip Off City Doc Reggae After Dennis Morris had done several lousy books with no text at all to explain his pictures, I conceived this book, convinced him to let me write it and to do this with me after he'd earned a lot of money with me working on the Complete Bob Marley & the Wailers 1967-1972 JAD series I produced in 1997-1998. I collected his stories, massively completed them as he didn't remember much (to give you an idea, he thought he'd met Bob in 1975 when he really met him in April 1973, and wouldn't admit it although he had pics of the April 73 small Speakeasy Club show!), wrote the book in English, travelled fro. absolutely gorgeous A Customer Bob Marley is not only one of the most influential singer/songwriters ever, but he is incredibly photogenic. His songs are as beautiful as he is. Morris' book gives great insight into the man he was, not only through the main component of the book, the photographs, but also the commentary. The pictures are incredibly expressive, showing all of Bob's emotions. Morris' comments are perfectly placed and very well written. Action shots, stills, live shots of concertsMorris has it all. Though my musical tastes have changed over time, and I expect they will even more as I grow older, Bob Marley will alway. The Worth Of A Picture Chris Haddock If a man is judged great by what he has done, what of he whose best may still lie ahead? Bob Marley has left a legacy that will lead a nation made of all peoples into greatness. His songs not only describe the path, but encourage us to take it. This pictoral of his life is as close as many can come to the essence of Bob without actually listening to the music. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then Bob's music is a stroll through the Lourve.
