Being new to Judaism and their practices, after hearing the Bim Bom song , I was interested in finding it online to learn the words and tune and stumbled across this gem of a book! Great find!. Rabbi recommends this book! Susan P. Schein As a Reconstructionist rabbi, I'm always looking for books that describe Jewish life and values in a way that is both meaningful and relevant. This book hits the mark! The story line is simple and sweet, the writing is clever and careful to be egalitarian, and the illustra. Great Book -- Fun for parents to read, too This is a great book. Kar Ben has been purchased by another company which is going to republish this with new illustrations, so I can't really comment on those, but I love the text. I can't recommend it enough!
