"An Excellent Book." according to Tom Shepherd (tom-shepherd@ti.com). I have not read this book from beginning to end, and I wouldn't recommend it for beginners trying to learn Visual C++, since there are much better books. However, I rated this book 5 stars because of the niche that it fills. This book covers not only the basic Window controls (such as list boxes, combo boxes, etc), but it goes into much more specialized functions. For example, suppose you wanted to create a list box that can have multiple columns, such as a database, and allow the user to click on any box in the grid and type in information. These are the type of design problems the book tackles it goes beyond the basic "how to imple. A Customer said Good intermediate level MFC programming book..
