In my opinion, at least, it was even better than Avengers, Vol. 1 was.In this story's main arc you will find:1) The Red Hulk (which, if you're as unfamiliar with Hulk comics as I am, is not the regular Hulk on the Marvel equivalent of Red Kryptonite, but is actually an entirely different character),2) The Infinity Gauntlet (which can be found in Infinity Gauntlet),3) All three current Avengers teams (The Avengers, The New Avengers, and the Secret Avengers) working t. "Good Avengers Book that adds a new member" according to T. Marshall. I have to say I like the storytelling of Bendis and the consist artwork through Avengers Volume 1 and 2. Volume 2 builds on Volume 1 and Avengers Prime, but also goes back to the end of Siege and the Illuminati.The story focuses on the Avengers (Iron Man, Thor, Wolverine, Spiderman, Spiderwoman, Marvel Boy, Ms. Marvel, etc.) as well as the Red Hulk and the Hood. The Hood was powerless after Siege, but was still thrown into the big Power prison. Since the Avengers have a billion teams now and they are putting away powered criminals, Robbins is told he will be transferred to another pris. ""Anyone else happen to notice the Watcher is here, y'know, watching!"" according to H. Bala. Parker Robbins a.k.a. the Hood is, I swear, the comic book world's version of a bad penny, dude just keeps turning up. He is a goddang cockroach! A scruffy survivor. The Hood is one of the most propped-up, annoying villains around, and it seems that Brian Michael Bendis has made it his mission in life to keep shoving him into our mugs. In the second big arc of this new AVENGERS title, the Hood is the featured Big Bad. AVENGERS Vol. 2 collects issues #7-12 and #12.1.
