Good biography I enjoyed this very neutral biography. As an Australian with a reasonable understanding of history, I have always considered Ataturk somewhat of an enigma. I was aware he was the commander of the Turkish forces our troops faced at Gallipoli, and I knew t. Waste of Money-- dont buy this Hanioglu has done a pretty bad job portraying Ataturk- It is actually shame for this author to write a book about a subject he has no expertise or deep knowledge. He is a columnist at a newspaper that has radical islamist views, therefore, I strongly adv
