Two Genres in One BrendaJane This was a very creative book, two genres in one - a gritty police procedural and a lighthearted angel story woven together seamlessly. The action was constant and kept me turning the pages. The only problem I had was the ending - the writing changed, t. "A little silly but not a bad read." according to Brittany Johnson. For me, this book was just okay. The Shallow End Gals are four women who all die in the beginning of the book, and they become angels. As part of their angel training, they learn how to assist mortals with problems on Earth. They get assigned to an FBI . "Interesting story direction" according to Anderson. I enjoyed the story and have bought book 2 to see what else is going to happen. This was funny and very serious at the same time like the Movie M.A.S.H. This was a interesting direction to take the story!

The full group meets two or three times a week. Some of us don't hear as well as we used to. The staff at the bar gave us the nickname, "The Shallow End Gals."
