"Better than the first" according to LD. I almost feel like I enjoyed this book more than the first one. The characters are enthralling, and the way the book delves into the arts of the past helped the story continue in new and exciting ways. I'm left wondering how our current timeline would be affected by the ways this alternate history takes place and how the peoples of the world would be something new and exciting. I frequently found myself saying just one more chapter until I'd actually just decided to sit .
