DESCRIPTION:

"Not ready for prime time." according to metzmatt. Uneven writing, some just plain terrible. For example, the author describes a sharp-edged blunt instrument. That's an oxymoron. Poorly constructed sentences, such as the one describing the man who found a job as a waiter and a wife. The main character and the love interest fall into and out of love numerous times as he becomes convinced she's a murderess, then not, then yes, then no. No relationship could realistically survive this. And the scenes in the courtroom are simp. dan's confusion- or readers'? a well written book, which suddenly turns from a legal mystery to a who done it! i dont understand this compulsion in writers, when they run out of legal ideas they turn to unnecessary story complications! so this turns out to be another pot pourri of love story, murder, politics and confused lawyer. still the author's writing style is good enough to keep you reading it till the end.. Serious page turnerbut smart Really great readexactly what I want out of a courtroom drama. The ending totally got me. I'll stop there not to give anything away, but if you're looking for a good story that keeps you engaged, you found it.
