HEY, WHAT CAN I SAY? WOMEN CARTOONISTS HAVE BEEN GROSSLY UNDERREPRESENTED BY SCHOLARS. TRINA ROBBINS DID HER HOMEWORK AND HAS WRITTEN AN EXCELLENT VOLUME ON THE SUBJECT.

Fortunately, this did not stop them; the wealth of comic strips here range from social commentary to politics. It is a world that was, and is still, white male-dominated.
